About Me

Ok time to finally update this crazy thing. So much has been going on, it just has been difficult to take the time to write all this down.Been working on finally getting to shoot my first feature film called Webcast (www.webcastthemovie.com). Between the Writer's strike and Screen Actor's Guild possible strike, not to mention the economy, we have suffered one setback after another. But finally we have this thing on course and it looks like we are full steam ahead. In the meantime I was approached to write a Stripper Reality Show by, who else, a stripper. The show is called "Gold Diggers" and it is moving along very nicely and as ironic as it may seem, will most likely hit the airwaves BEFORE Webcast. Life is strange.I wrote and produced a music video for local Seattle band Out From Underneath called "Happy" that has done quite well and opened the One Reel Film Festival at Bumbershoot this year. I'm very please with the video and you can check it out at www.youtube.com/grandpasrv Be sure to have a look and tell me what you think.A lot of people have come and gone in my life this year. Some I needed to move away from, others I wish I hadn't. But I am finally getting to understand who I am, and what I want from life, and I am just going to go for it. I have nothing to lose at this point, so while my career starts to take off, and I put most of my time into that, I also am going to be putting time into me, and finding what makes me happy. It's hard to let go of people for me, some more so than others. But I am working on finding a way.My passion is coaching basketball. I love kids, love to help people, love to coach. I'm very pleased that events turned in my favor and I am coaching the 7th Grade Select basketball team this year for Lake Washington Select. They are a great bunch of kids, very talented, and I am having the time of my life. My big dream is in 2009 to finally be able to build Hoop Dreams, a giant basketball fascility where kids can come and play hoop, and teams can play in tournaments every weekend. I'm on the prowl for a place right now!I have 4 wonderful children, ages 20, 18, 16 and my Princess is 15. They are very understanding about my travel, very supportive of my career, and growing up so fast into wonderful adults. I am very proud of all the have achieved so far, my oldest plays baseball still in an adult league and LOVES the game and it makes me very happy that he can do what he loves. My second oldest is an amazing artist and I hope to suck him into the movie business by having him do the Story Boards for Webcast. He truly is gifted. My third oldest is one of the funniest people I know, is just now starting to drive, and really loves to work (ok he loves money but he is at least willing to work for it). He loves sports, and might be the only child taller than me. And my Princess is a real Daddy's girl, does the eye thing and everything and really has a passion for Volleyball. If only I could get her to stop talking! I have 2 nephews that I am very proud of as well. My oldest nephew is going to be a world class Chef one day, and is going to Vegas soon to conquer the would of cooking. I know he will do amazing. And the youngest nephew is by far one of the nicest kids I know, loves cars and racing, works his butt off all the time, and can't ask for a nicer kid. He will be successful as well. I truly am very thankful, and very blessed.
