Thanks for stopping by our MySpace page. We are a songwriting duo from Orange County, NY and we have been working on material for years. Bryan handles the vocals and rhythm guitar and Jason handles the drums and backing vocals. Bryan also writes all of the music and Jason handles the lyrics and most of the melodies.
Prior to forming "World of Whispers" we played in various bands together and during that time we played venues such as The Chance in Poughkeepsie, The Downtown in Middletown and Kahoots in Newburgh. We also opened up for the national act and well known hard rock band Slaughter. Our goal has always been to land a record deal or publishing contract but we write music for our own enjoyment and if something comes from it in the future then that's just icing on the cake. We also love spending time in the studio and creating songs that people have to listen to over and over again.
We have written over 50 songs together and have produced 1 full 10 song CD titled "Preparing For Takeoff" and some samples from the CD are available right here on our page for you to listen to. The majority of our songs were recorded and mixed at Mind Magic Studios in Poughkeepsie, NY and since we are a 2-piece project, we had some friends and additional studio musicians contribute to the record to help us make it complete.
