I am Van Ries and I have been playing and writing and singing my songs for a few years more than three decades. My music is for you the listener and what you may think of it is what I will base my success upon. If this is my space I will give to you what I have and we will see how you rate me . Don't call yourself my friend if this is not true. I love you because it is the way of it. I am here to see if I am as good as they say. My full name is Van Ries Aycock and what I truly have cannot be taken from me as I have nothing other than the gifts God has given me. I hope you enjoy my music, art and writing. I have no band as I have been traveling for thirty years and have not had the time to put together a band. I was never in one place long enough to do this and family and my job kept me from doing this for many years. I care about saying the right thing in my song's lyrics and I care about the melodies being what you want to hear. I will add to this later, but for now I say I apologize that I don't have the money to produce more recorded songs. I'll get around to it. Maybe someone out there will believe in me and make an offer that will help me complete this album and a few more, maybe not. I'll keep writing my songs and I'll continue to draw and paint and write my novels, not because there is profit to be made , but because it is what I do and enjoy. Love to all, Van Ries
