If you ever read phrases like "wounds that won't heal" or dramatic references to candlelight and the darkness of the soul in any of my poems just punch me in the face. I'd rather write about conjoined triplets and Glasgow.

My favorite shot of Neil Hannon, aka The Divine Comedy mastermind/genius.
I've never been very forthcoming about my musical tastes. I'm definitely not the "anything but country or rap" type, although I'm not really a fan of either of those genres. I'm just rather picky about what I listen to at any given moment. Music tends to have such a profound effect on my mental state at any given time that I can't voluntarily subject myself to just any ol' thing. That said, I do very much appreciate clever lyrics. More on that later, I'm sure.

I know for a fact that there was a period of my childhood, likely between age 5 and 7 that I wanted to BE Davy Jones. This, I believe, followed a period when I wanted to be Alex P. Keaton.
I know. I can't explain it either.
