About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace) --------------------------------- HELLO EDEN OPENING FOR SCOTT WEILAND!!!
Here's a great little REVIEW of HELLO EDEN's latest show at R&R NYC by Stephen Bailey. You can find this and pictures of the show at www.Stephenbailey.com:
I always have a tough time coming up with descriptions for bands that I like. I struggle to come up with some piece of poetry that will showcase a band's luster. Not mention showing off my flowerey ways. I try desperately to steer clear of comparisons but then a band like Hello Eden comes along and does it for me.

Here I was at R & R (416 W 14th St, NYC) waiting for them to go on and it happened. They opened their set with Led Zeppelin's 'Rock N Roll' before blasting thru some really choice originals. [set included: Matador, You're Okay, You Her and Me, Dear John, The Inside Device, My Sharpest Friend, & Bully] Then, at the end they hit us with Tool's 'Sober'. What perfect bookmarks I thought. Whether or not it was intentional, they clearly defined their grasp on the blues-rock and prog-metal sounds. And the in between was a perfect blend of the two.

Then the poetry came to me as I sipped on my cocktail after the set. It reads as such: Like a loaded gun pointed at your face, don't flinch when they pull the trigger. Just let the sound blow your face off. OK, It's not Yeats, but it works.

Some Quotes from Cdbaby. com:

Sometimes you forget how good a cd is and then you put it on a few months later

Reviewer: AdAm

I've had this album just short of a year and it still holds true to the first time I popped it in. These guys are doing something different, these guys are delving into many different areas of music, and I like it! If you&re into rock, blues, metal, prog, etc.... you will dig this cd.

The Dark Knight - Kindergarden Days
Wonderful CD that captures my thoughts and feelings about life.

Reviewer: Mallory Brown

The songs really captured how I felt at certain times in my life. Sometimes, I believe that I'm the girl in "Blues for Midnight". Almost anyone can relate to "You're Okay"; who hasn't felt ignored by someone you absolutely adore? I have never had a CD this awesome... ever!
