View King Cotton's EPK * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *KING COTTON originally formed in 2006 under the moniker Billy G. Camp Band. Upon the release of their first CD, "Don't Stop the Carnival", this Boise-based act became a regional mainstay, playing to audiences at numerous venues and festivals throughout Idaho and Oregon. * * * * * *After several line-up changes this past year, KING COTTON has begun recording their second CD entitled "Them That Believe". This collection of 12 songs spotlights the songwriting of South Carolina native and founding member, Grant Camp. Dubbed Southern Americana, these songs feature an eclectic mix of surf guitars and dirt-road folk injected with country-blues and rock n' roll.
