Todd Menzies

I grew up watching my father play guitar and spent endless nights listening to his vinyl collection. Receiving my first guitar at the age of 8, I instantly developed a love for the blues and folk music that is still with me today. I started writing poetry around the age of 13 and soon after began songwriting, using music to bring life to my poetry. Now living in a small mountain town in British Columbia, I continue to write and perform music in coffee shops, pubs, book stores and on the street behind an open guitar case exchanging melodies for pocket change. In the summer of 2009 I recorded & released my first solo EP "Cold Coffee", which I followed up with a cross Canada tour...including a showcase as part of Indie Week Canada in Toronto.
