Dave was at the Massive Attack "Meltdown" on the Southbank with Arthur Baker & they were both awestruck by the live mixing skills of Aidrian Sherwood;f...ing amazing! Dave is currently in the studio working on a cover version of a track by the legendary New York duo Suicide alongside some other artists (can"t say who but expect to br surprised)! ."Doppelganger" by The Grid is out now;fab reviews in M8,Record Collector,DJ & The Word magazines also great review in The Independent. Soft Cells' "Heat" double remix album is due to out Aug 08 featuring mixes by Kinky Roland, The Grid , Mark Moore, Nitewreckers, Paul Dakeyne, MHC, Trevor Jackson/Playgroup, Cicada, Richard X, Marcas Lancaster, Spektrum, Readers Wives, Punx Soundcheck, Atomizer, George Demure, Dark Poets, Yer Man, MFF, The Memory Band, Marcello, Simon Plastiq,Dave Ball & Marc Almond ! .Recent projects include The Nitewreckers remix of George Demures' version of the Bowie classic, "Sorrow" .They are currently in the studio working on various projects. Dave was on the panel of "experts"? at the Great Escape Festival in Brighton , with Grid partner Richard Norris,Phil Hartnoll(Orbital),Nick Smith (Long Range) & host John Robb. Dave has just done an interview for a forthcoming Prism Films DVD about electronic music which features members of Kraftwerk & various other musicians. He is currently putting toether a "DJ" set for a US internet radio show; currently living the life of a techno-monk , spending lots of time with his children & working on "the book".iBig love, Electronically yours, db
