Torre South (Charles Barron) was born in Fayetteville, NC and later moved to Augusta, GA at the age of two. Torre South family has always been heavily involved in Church. Both of his parents were ministers as well as singers. His sister and brother were also involved as talented singers in church as well.His childhood musical influences consisted of gospel artists such as Sam Cooke, The Winans, and Commissioned. Being in a family that knows something about singing, it was inevitable that Torre would learn all about music and harmony at an early age.Growing into his teenage years, Torre found himself with one foot in the church, and the other in the streets. He was then influenced musically by artist such as 2pac, Eightball & MJG, and UGK. Later while developing his own unique style of R&B, he cultivated a combination of soulful vocals and southern hip hop lyrics over hard hitting gangster tracks. Over the years he has perfected this formula; even though he feels that others have tried similar styles, but have not come close to his unique flavor. Performing all over Georgia and the Southeast has given Torre experience, as well as a great stage presence.Now, Torre is the Co-CEO of S.A.B. Incorporated and Co-Owner of No Joke Recording Studios. He combines his ability to sing and write trend setting music with his business savvy to become a powerful force for today and tomorrows music industry.
