Influences: Pretty much everyone in the past who has broken from the mold. Aphex Twin, Autechre, µ-ziq, Venetian Snares etc. However, I'm not doing things right if I'm just trying to mimic any of these.
My own plans are derived from all sorts of approaches to music.. biggest factors are IDM, Goa Psytrance, and ambient all playing strong roles.
Sounds Like:I would describe the idea behind my stuff as active ambiance, or ambient that doesn't put you to sleep. It's not purely defined and that's fine by me.
I very much like quite pronounced bass while trying to keep frequencies relatively balanced, with a sort of softer feel to all the tracks as they are partially ambient. I don't go for typical bass or lead sounds and often do strange things to them.
