About Me

A.S.A.P. is a weekly meeting that was formed based on a vision from God. A.S.A.P. stands for: Agape (for) Self Abused People. After running a Christian 12 step program in a church for three years we realized that most of the people that were coming were just not being set free. They were stuck in what we like to call the Romans 7:19 cycle of "Why do I do the things that I don't want to do" We realized it was a heart issue. So many people have comdemned hearts. 1 John 3:21 (NASB) 21Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; We noticed the biggest obstacle people had to overcome was being able to see that God loves them regardless of what they have done in their life. That God is not mad at them. In fact He is CRAZY about you. That EVERY promise in the bible is yes to those who are in Christ Jesus. We take it back to the cross and what Jesus accomplished there. Jesus was crucified and died for ALL our sins. We are already forgiven, a done deal, we are a new creation in Him. Our past is gone and it definately DOES NOT determine our future. We just need to persuade our hearts of that. Romans 8:1 says "Therefore there is now NO condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus". Once you start persuading your heart in that direction and SEEING yourself the way God sees you, not how you do and others do, you'd be surprised how bad habbits, addiction, negativity, lack and so many other things just fall off. We could never accomplish that on our own without Jesus and what He did for us on the cross. We were never meant to. If what Jesus did wasn't enough to set us free, what is? We are not a 12 step program, in fact we are not a program at all. We center and focus on the awesome love and power of God. We are here to help you along the path that we have taken in our own personal lives and know works. It's time to get back to the simplicity of the Gospel.God loves you SO much that He gave His only son to die for you so that you could live. If He would do that, what won't He do for you? Do you believe it? +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++I edited my profile at Free Christian MySpace Layouts , check out these Christian Myspace Layouts!Creation to Calvary - Dr. James B.
