iF YOU DONT KNOW...........HARD BEATS AND BASS BITCHESDrum and bass is a type of electronic dance music also known as jungle which emerged in the early 1990s. The genre is characterised by fast tempo broken beat drums (generally between 160–180 beats per minute) with heavy sub basslines. In the 2000s, drum and bass is still considered an underground musical style, but it has nevertheless had a significant influence on popular music and culture.Drum and bass began as an offshoot of the UK's hardcore rave scene of the very early 90s, and over the first decade of its existence there were many permutations in its style, incorporating elements from ragga, dancehall, electro, funk, hip hop, house, jazz, heavy metal, reggae, rock, techno and trance.Bassline house, or simply bassline, is a sub-genre of UK garage music that mixes elements of speed garage, 4x4 garage and R&B, and shares characteristics with fellow sub-genres dubstep and grime for their emphasis on bass. The style originated in Sheffield around 2002[1], and rose to prominence during the mid-2000s in the north of England[citation needed]. In the early 21st century, the sound began to gain popularity, with underground hits branching throughout the north-west UK[citation needed].Bassline has been at the centre of controversy in Sheffield due to a police raid on the former bassline club night Niche, after which the club closed down. Police raided the club amidst reports that the scene had been attracting violence, drug use and gang culture. Since it was the most popular bassline night in Sheffield prior to its closure, Niche is sometimes used as an alternative name for the musical genre. Like grime and dubstep, bassline is still associated with violence, anti-social behaviour and criminal activityUK garage (also known as UKG or just garage) refers to several different varieties of modern electronic dance music generally connected to the evolution of house in the United Kingdom in the mid 1990s. Usage of the term "garage" is different in the United States than in the UK, where it refers to the 1980s New York house movement.Electro is an artistic musical form in the wide world of electronic music culture. With few exceptions, the definition of the electro sound is the use of drum machines as the rhythmic base of a track. Rhythm patterns tend to be electronic emulations of breakbeats, with syncopated kick drums, and usually a snare or clap accenting the downbeat.Trance is a style of electronic dance music that developed in the 1990s. Trance music is generally characterized by a tempo of between 130 and 160 BPM, short melodic synthesizer phrases, and a musical form that builds up and down throughout a track.[1] Trance can be understood as a combination of many forms of electronic music such as ambient, techno, and house. The origin of the term is ambiguous, with some suggesting that the term is derived from the Klaus Schulze album Trancefer (1981) or the early trance act Dance 2 Trance. In any case, the name is undoubtedly linked to the perceived ability of a drum beat to induce altered states of consciousness known as trance. The effect of some trance music has been likened to the trance-inducing music created by ancient shamanists during long periods of drumming. [2][3] As this music is frequently played in nightclubs, vacation spots and inner cities, trance can be understood as a type of club music.Florida breaks, also referred to as Florida breakbeat, Funky Breaks, and Tampa Breaks, is a genre of breakbeat music which, as the name suggests, is most popular in the areas around the US state of Florida. Florida breaks were popular in the club culture of the southeast US during the mid and late 90's to early 2000's. Its sound at that time was described as 'funky' and often included recognizable samples from 80's pop, funk, and hiphop.ECKT CET ERA!!!!!!!!
