Rosae Crucis was founded in 1990, from the minds of Andrea Magini and Igor Baccei. In 1993 the band released "IL RE DEL MONDO" (The King of the World) their first demotape, which gained very good press reviews and strong audience appreciation. The formation for "Il re del mondo" was: Andrea Magini (guitars),Igor Baccei(guitars),Giuseppe Cialone (voices),Manuel Timperi (bass), Giordano Bimbi (drums). Before the first and the second demo, for a great number of lives gigs, Mario Ferruzzi take the place at the Bass Guitar. The second demo released in the 1997 was "FEDE POTERE VENDETTA" (Faith Power Revenge). Igor Baccei left the band before the release of the demo. The formation for FPV was Andrea Magini (guitars),Giuseppe Cialone (voices),Max Salvatori (bass),Giordano Bimbi (drums). The Band carry on the arm a tattoo with the phrase: DEATH TO FALSE METAL. In the 2000 the band put out the promo "Bran Mak Morn" that is the first attempt to sing in English. In this promo there are 3 of the songs that will make the first Album. The formation for this promo was: Andrea Magini (guitars),Giuseppe Cialone (voices),Max Salvatori (bass),Mirko Lai (drums). In the 2001 the band recorded the manowar cover "Pleaseure Slave" for an italian Tribute to Manowar. Mirko Lai left the band before the recording sessions of the first album. At the end of 2002, the band played live with Manilla Road and Doomsword. Manilla Road left a deep sign in the band, making a deep friendship with the American band. In the 2003 the band recorded the first official Album "Worms of the Earth". Giuseppe Orlando, drummer of the famous italian band "Novembre",and great friend of the band, sit down behind the drum war machine to help the friends for the album. On February 2003 , after the release of the album, Tiziano "Azagtoth" Marcozzi, join the band in the official role of guitar, side by side with Andrea "kiraya" Magini. In 2007 the band recorded "The Fires of Mars" Manilla Road Cover for the Official Tribute . In late 2007 Daniele "KK" Cerqua entered in the formation, in substitution of Max Salvatori.
