Welcome to the High Off the Dancehalls myspace.
Chelmsford town centre – in the past has been a depressing state of affairs, with regards to music and culture. The choice of Dukes or Edwards for Friday night out leaves you reaching for a knife.
However in the past year or so club nights offering excellent music both of a live and DJ nature have been emerging all over Chelmsford. Places where you can drink without fear of a moronic thug giving you abuse for not dressing and looking like a cheap David Beckham. Places where people genuinely come together to dance and feel like there sharing a wicked night out.
Our club night is part of this new batch of nights in Chelmsford and once a month we bring you bands from beyond our county's borders and some from within.
Our resident DJs take you dancing into the night until 2am. Playing the latest mash ups, remixes, Electro and an anything goes policy to dance music and beyond.
Chelmsfordians no longer will you have to suffer in silence as High Off The Dancehalls is here once a month.
A place where the non violent, law abiding, forward thinking, culture loving, music obsessed, soft centred, sane human being NO LONGER fears to tread. Chelmsford just got allot better. Get off your ass and come and enjoy it.
And we are pleased to announce that High Off The Dancehalls is moving to Barhouse. Check the top friends for more info on this exciting new venue.
We now have a facebook group:
