Five Page Letterbomb

This is a page dedicated to the memory of 5PLb... the band that never played a show but made these shitty ass recordings of some of their songs. Formed at the end of summer 2003, they sought to break away from all the mainstream hootenanny going on elsewhere. The mastermind behind the music was the Chabba-bot himself Steven Chabbasol, who wrote most of the songs. Steve saw potential in his fellow musicians and attempted to work with them. With the rest of the crew stuck on drugs, cigarette breaks, and goofing off, the learning of songs went rather slowly. So slow that the Chabba-bot decided to leave the band after months of practicing, unable to deal with the insubordinate and incompetent band members. But they continued on and found a new guitarist Eric "Chink" Drinkwater. Practice continued on for several more months and a song was even written(without Steve!!![sippin' tea]) But even bassist Matt Mrock left shortly after Steve but returned for a brief period of time near the final break-up. Long enough to at least help with the recording. Chock full of crusty, grimy goodness, this band never quite got the jump it needed to actually do something with its talent and unique sound. Towards the very end, the remaining members attempted to make a "recording" of some of the songs... which as you can tell isn't a very good recording. Not only is it bad quality, but some of the parts aren't even played correctly. But regardless, a lot of hard work and talent went into it and it is actually decent music. There are two other songs that never got recorded, so what's up is what we got...............................This page is run by the drummer who just likes to remember the good times... and hopes that maybe someone else will appreciate this stuff as much as they do.
