Loretta Callens began her journey through music at 6 years old, performing at her local church and later joining her school's choir. She credits her parents with fostering her love of music and partiality to harmony.
Loretta performed with folk duet Firelight (1978-1996) and Pine Hill Bluegrass Band (1988-1998.) She presently performs at wineries, restaurants, benefits, private events, retirement centers and open mics in east Texas and the Dallas area. Loretta continues to expand her music horizon, with two of her original songs featured on radio broadcast.
Loretta Callens' music embodies a timeless, American folk genre that appeals to anyone who loves music.
