It is rumored that he explained the inner workings of an alzheimers mind so vividly to an autistic 8 yr old that the child instantly forgot all about his disorder and went on to be Dustin Hoffmans acting coach on the set of Rainman. And had he remembered to properly label the film he used to document the experience he would have been approved for the mccaurther genious grant. Instead the review board saw 5 minutes of the event and 3 hrs of The Boondocks.
He is a recovering ignorance addict. Hes made up for the fact that he can't read by starting the nonprofit organization ILW: Illustrating the Literary World who's prime objective is to ween the reading disabled and the attentive deprived onto the joy of reading by distributing comic book versions of such classics as "the bible" and "the diary of ann frank" as well as "dante's inferno" and more recently "the da vinci code."
Jro is what would happen if Charles Bukowski, Hunter S Thompson, and Aaron McGruder all got caught in that machine from the movie "the fly."
He is a 2 time felon with a bachelors of science in criminal justice. He's an artist, urban scribe, and promoter of positivity thru words meant to educate the youth while simultaneously invoking empathy in those fortunate enough to not need the help. He is Carolina born, military raised, flooded with flaws, and can pay his rent on time about as well as he can watch his language. but hopefully in time he can learn how to keep a bank account, a job, a girl content, control his potty mouth , all while somehow consolidating his vices to belgian beers, newports,a crisp pair of dunks, and white tees fresh out the bag.
