Joe Lussa is a bassist for the band The Audition . The band was started by drummer, Ryan O'Connor and Joe in Chicago, Illinois in 2003. They worked with various musicians in their early years. Their first album, All in Your Head, was recorded before Seth Johnson, Danny Stevens, and Tim Klepek were added to the band. They added guitarist Seth Johnson , and began playing shows with bands like The Academy Is... They were discovered by the local label, Victory Records, and signed a record deal in November 2003. Danny Stevens , lead singer, was added to the band after they lost their original singer after a month after signing. He was originally brought into the band to play guitar for the band. In the spring of 2005, The Audition recorded their first record, Controversy Loves Company , in Nada Studios in New Windsor, New York. After the recording of Controversy Loves Company was completed, Tim Klepek was added as an additional guitarist. They performed at Warped Tour in 2006 and 2007, and are planning on doing Warped again this year. They were also included in Tourzilla with Boys Like Girls, All Time Low, and We The Kings in late 2007.
