Sin & Crook have been rhyming since 6th grade!! Yes 6th grade! Crook did a revised version of Black Sheep's "You Can Get With This" for the sixth grade D.A.R.E progam in front of the whole sixth grade class! This caught the attention of SIN who had been known to rhyme a little here and there as well! So soon after that Sin & Crook decided to start rhyming together! They recorded their first song which was a revised version of Black Moon's "How Many MC's" on an old tape recorder like what they use to give hearing test to kids with in school. lol Shortly after they recorded the song alot of their classmates started asking for copies of the tape! So they recorded as many as they could and passed them out to everyone who wanted one. They performed the song at one of their classmates Birthday Party in the 7th grade! Everyone seemed to like the it so they started doing little performances at house parties and things of that nature. But as Sin & Crook went into High School, they took somewhat of a break from the music for a little while just trying to live life! Sin moved to Florida for awhile trying to get to know his father a little better. While Crook was here doin his thing! But when Sin got back from Florida it was right back to buisness. Sin met a producer of an Independent label called Lebasi Records. Soon after they met Sin ended up recording his first Solo Album Titled "Creative Minds" in 2001 which did really well locally!! Crook was featured on the album as well as Sin's brother Gattmouth. After Sin's contract was up with Lebasi Sin & Crook decided to do a Mixtape Titled "Def Star Terror City Mixtape" with Gattmouth! It too did pretty well locally! But now older and much wiser to the game! Sin & Crook are ready to take the World by surprise with their debut album together as Sin & Crook Titled "THE RESUME"!! The Resume has been making alot of noise in and around the Midwest! Sin & Crook won a contest at Stude's making them the first local artist to get airplay on Power 95.7, which led to more airplay on another station 99.1 WSMK, where Sin & Crook did a live interview with local Legend Toby T which landed them a live interview on T.V. Channel 99 comcast cable, which is another show that Toby T does called Michiana Jamz! But it doesn't end there!! Sin & Crook have recently opened up shows for rap legends such as Ice-T, Rakim,Kid Capri,Brother Ali, and Bizzare of D12 and have no intentions of slowing down or stopping till they show the whole world what they're made of!!!
