"Good Lookin'
Very daring and versatile, from her image to her music, this Texas Stallion (5'11) is sure to grab your attention and keep it and have you wanting more!
Raised by her Father and being the only girl with two brothers, made it very easy for her to interact with boys and do a lot of the same things they did. At the young age of 12, she started battle rapping and free styling with her brothers and other guys around the neighborhood. This quickly created a buzz for herself and gave her the nickname "Bloody" (which she used before professionally recording). At the age of 15, she met another aspired up and coming rapper named "Killa Nard". It was then that she really begun to take Music serious. They became a duo and her name became "Misery" (Proven to make her opponents feel that way after battling, she decided to adopt the name "Misery")
At the age of 15, she landed her first record deal with an independent record company in Dallas, Texas. Her partner Killa Nard departed and became incarcerated shortly after the deal for a serious charge, he still remains in custody. She continued to network and perform. At the age of 17, she reunited with a couple of previous record label members. Shortly after, they had an investor, also a friend, R.I.P. Scratch, and recorded and released their first professional album (Soldiers of the New Millennium, 1998). A video was recorded and aired for the self-titled song and received fair rotation on Southern Video Vibe. With business disagreements between management and the group, personal conflicts, not to mention the death of the investor (R.I.P. Scratch), the group would depart. She still didn’t stop chasing her dream.
in 2004-06, Butta reunited with “Lawaeâ€, a known producer from Dallas. They became the group “TGU†(The Group Unknown) which consisted of a producer (Lawae), an R&B singer (D. Dance) and a female rapper (Butta, formally “Miseryâ€). In 2004, Misery’s “Causing Commotion†was released as a “B†side to “The Duo†(Lawae and D. Dance). In 2005-06, TGU’s “Vent it Out†was released. The single was, “That’s How We Wreck†Featuring Lil’ Grody (King of Diverse), which was accompanied by a video, which received airtime on “Da Come Upâ€. The show went off air shortly afterwards, and the group began to pursue other interests.
With determination, motivation, and a load of work under her belt, Butta only gets smoother and tastier. Her confidence and determination caused her to network even harder and invest in her own dream as Executive Producer of her solo project and C.E.O. of her own entertainment company, “Doe Gurl Ent.†With Texas’ hardest hitting producers, Spliff Wayne (Firestation Productions) and Yung Feddi, (Feddi Productions), just to name a couple, powerful vocals and deliverance, Butta is destined to Succeed. Check out her cocky, confident, tongue twisting flow on the hit song, Queen Ov Da Mic" Feat. Lil' Grody (Prod. by SPLIFF Wayne), where she demands respect and recognition from all MC's, specifically the females. Her swag is so unique, and it shows, on "SWAGGALISTIC" (produced by YUNG FEDDI). She's not afraid to express her womanhood and sexuality on "Dat Good", produced by Yung FEDDI, While "Pain" (Prod. by EMPRI) Feat. her Mother, Ms. E, touches home for a lot of people who are in a relationship where it's taking a lot out of them for the worst. Her spirituality is visible and heartfelt on "Forgive Me", where she apologizes to her fathers ( God and Wayne) both for things she's not proud of and allows you to better understand who she is.
Her Flow can be laid back to the likes of "UGK (R.I.P. Pimp C)", crunk with the energy of Lil' Jon, or smooth, melodic, and tongue twisting like the sounds of "Twista." She's a writer and performer of both Rap and R & B.
With a creative mind, a powerful delivery, gorgeous looks, quality and certified production, it is safe to say that "Butta" definitely brings a breathe of fresh air to the music business, especially on behalf of the female MC's.
All hail to
