Skjit-Lars

Skjit-Lars is a one man punk project, and the name I used for my first recordings back in 1981. I've continued on and off under that name ever since, but I've tried to use my real name, Lars Nicolaysen, in my other projects. People seem to refer to me as Skjit-Lars anyway, so I've got plans to record and release some new material under that name in the near future. As Skjit-Lars I play all the instruments myself, but my main occupation these days is as drummer in the bands "HumdinGer", "Blaakraft" and "PLX-15". I'm also a part of "Psykisk Tortur" and the everlasting rehearsal band "Den tid... Den sorg" (that will soon change it's name).In the past I've been a founding member of bands like "Terror for Jesus", "Bleah", "X-omatic", "Vertinnen Skriker", "Nervoese Lidelser" and a few more. Mostly as a drummer/songwriter. Some of them are found on my 1995 CD "Shit Happens" released under my real name. The Skjit-Lars recordings on this site are recorded in the mid eighties but released on my '95 compilation.
