Sempiternal is a raw low-fi Black Metal project that began as a concept in late 1997 between founders Farshath and Cognatis. The two built the band around the concept of "the Capron Faith",. a rejection of leaders, and a belief that no god shall stand before thy "Self". The original line up was Farshath on Drums /Vocals and Cognatis on Guitars. During this time the "Capronion Angel" rehersal tape was recorded with a sound going from primative droning guitars to uncontrolled bursts of speed. Farshath switched to guitar and began writing a more dissonant faster sound with strange atonal melodies. The band recorded its second rehersal tape called "The Forest of Omnot" most of the tape remains without a drum track. It was passed out to friends and the band played its first and only gig. Sempiternal ended in 2002. In 2003 Sempternal's second demo "FOREST OF OMNOT" was re-released through ETERNAL DARKNESS CREATIONS as a final note on this bands contribution.
