BBT : Juke Box Attack – CD;self released Album Kindly submitted by Barneys Boogie TrainStyle : Rock 'n' Roll Rate (1-5) :If you ever have the possibility to catch a gig by BBT then chances are big that you hear a weird cover version of a well known tune, all done in a typical Rockabilly style. The idea is not new but simply because of big demand by fans all over BBT compiled 13 of their steamy renditions onto a hell of an album, added a self penned tune to it and released what will soon be known as the classic fun album : Juke box AttackWith cover versions of Michael Jackson’s Beat It, Bruce Springsteen’s I’m On fire, Metallica’s Nothing Else Matters or Mungo Jerry’s In the summertime the goal is set! Add to the list great renditions of Sweet Home Alabama and Sex Drugs and Rock ‘n’ Roll and there is no stopping the fun. Classic (neo) Rockabilly like Gene and Eddy, or Something Else beautifully fits with the rest of the tunes and helps to create a complete party atmosphere! Unfortunately, Paint It Black isn’t a very successful rendition! Not that the cover version is bad, but most likely because it is hard to add some extra rock and roll to that tune. But this is really no reason to be disappointed cause the complete album is so great that you really can’t wine about one tune! Way Down the one self penned tune on this album is really great and by all means my favourite track on this CD!Contact these guys & pick up their album cause this music will certainly spice up your barn dance!Mr Blue BoogieClose
