started beatboxing when he was 12, he was inspired by the god farther of all noise-(Rahzel). After accomplishing the famous track (if your mother only new) he moved onto better and more fulfilling things. So by the age of 14 he was making beats and vocals sound more affective. By 16 he was sneaking into clubs doing open mic nights, that's not the right thing to do but it got him some where today. Skillz knew when the crowd responded, that this was the life, that's when he realized that it had to be taken seriously. So when the passion grew stronger he began to listen to a lot more of music. But listened to how music was made not what was being played, for example...forget the vocal and listen to the snares, drum, high hat etc..etc. Skillz would mimic them noises in that particular order and do it all from the mouth. Shortly after he would train his self to put in the vocals, of course some times its try and error but learned to adapt. Skillz would push him self to limits to get that certain sound to perfection and still to this day will always try to hit a higher target. Skillz inspired youths of today and noted this motto,(TO GET TO THE TOP, YOU HAVE TO TAKE OUT THE PERSON WHO IS.) was said proudly to the up and coming beatboxers, meaning tell your self this every day, work hard at what you do and you will achieve it. Skillz can put on a show full of Drum and bass hip hop, grime, break beat, funk even rock and many more. At 17 he was spotted for what he could do and what he was achieving and was given the opportunity to expand the hobby into a career by being recruited From (2free crew). This was a group of people full of talent such as breakers, Dj,s, MC,s, vocalists and graff artist. Of course they did not have a beatboxer so was recruited into this firm just by doing one show in front of them. After a few months it was decided to put on a show on a regular at a local club called Bar Bloc and put on a show full of hip, hop, drum and bass, graff visuals, breakers and of course the collaboration between the Mc,s vocalists and beatboxing. Of course this took months of planning. But crowds were coming from all over the UK to witness this show. Still to this day it goes on, every first Saturday of every month. The name of this firm was Locality, For the fact that they where all locals in the area. Now at 20 he is doing more shows than ever from festivals such as City roots, Grass roots, Hungry Horse charity events, to clubs such as Park, Dissident, Envy, Throw down, Bar bloc, these are just a few of places that Skillz has represented.
