West London’s Soul Disciples came together late in 2005 with the express wish of bringing the classic soul sounds of the 60’s & 70’s to the dance floors of Britain. We have resolved to make our interpretations as faithful to the spirit of the originals as possible. The soulful voice of Miss Bubbles Moloney combined with the authentic soul sound of the SD band has to be witnessed to be believed. The Soul Disciples constantly strive to instill their performances with the spirit and skill which made soul music of the 60’s & 70’s so exciting. The SD’s have found themselves in the enviable position of having a wonderful 8-piece line-up which combines experience, virtuosity, personality & good looks (?!), all wrapped up with a shared love of Classic Motown,Atlantic,Stax & Northern Soul.

Band Members: Miss Bubbles Moloney leads with her Sublimely Soulful Voice, aided & abetted by the Most Blueswailing Chomper, who brings the low and sometimes remarkably high vocal tones, along with his Memphis guitar licks. Matt The Hat, the tallest man in showbiz (outside The Harlem Globetrotters) infuses the groovy Hammond organ & Wurlitzer piano. Our rhythm section features Ace drummer Paul, and Michael our very own Al Pacino on funktastic Fender Bass. The SD Horns come in the shape of two gorgeous girlies, Nat "The Sax Kitten" on Tenor Sax & Lil' Reenie Lazzerini on Alto Sax/Flute/Bongos, ably accompanied by Herby'The Man'Herbert on Trumpet and occasional funky Tambourine.
