It all started when the universe was created. Now, the universe was a pretty cool place, so naturally cool things were needed to fill it. One was music, and another 5 were the band members of Obsessive Compulsion. The concept for this explosion of musical glory was formed on a May 24th camping trip, even before Jay had a drum set, Cory an electric guitar, or even a bassist! Many, many..........many, and dare I say it, MANY band member changes came along. Kevin Fowler(bass), Michael Laracy(guitar), Christopher Kavanagh(vocals) and Andrew Lane(bass) were all in the band at one point. For a short period of about half a day, Steve was even out of the band(although without his knowing). The band couldn’t help feeling there was just something missing, some link that was needed for sweet completion of the musical chain. The old members were all attempts to fill the band that fell short. However! The God of Rock answered the bands’ prayers at an Amalgamated Idol concert, where the band played with Richard Porter. The connection was almost instantaneous, and it wasn’t long before he was the official bassist. But, then the God of rock stumbled upon some bad drugs, and Richard decided to pursue his own solo career. R.I.P. Richard’s talent, you will be missed. Tensions were high as the band was once again a three piece. BUT! As the trip slowly passed, that silly God of Rock realized his mistake, and sent Adam Power, his long-haired fret-board-fiend to once again bring the band to completion. As the God of Rock began feeling more up to his Godly duties he brought Richard back and returned everything back to normal with a couple of exceptions. Tommy has been moved to vocals only and Adam Power has taken his spot on guitar and we are now pleased to announce that the god of rock has entered rehab and there will be no more mistakes. Or so we thought, for Mr. Richard Porter is yet again no longer part of Obsessive Compulsion. Thus the band was as it is today. 4 men, joined through their love of music and their passion for rocking out like there is no tomorrow. Thus we have Tommy on lead vocals pleasuring the masses with his voice, Steve-o Power with his squealing harmonics and sweet guitar throws, Jay Wells with his sick double kick and blood curdling screams, and Adam Power with his guitar madness striking somewhere in the pants of all who know the word guitar.
