About Me

Here are some of my mixes. I sample songs and mix them together, sometimes as many as 10 or more going at once, with anywhere from 40 to over 100 songs throughout a single track. A whole lot of time and tinkering goes into them to get what you hear, and a lot of times interesting things happen that I didn't plan on. This will always happen when looking for patterns with sounds. When different patterns emerge sometimes 'other' sounds are discovered. There is one mix that I would have loved to put up here that I worked on for about 8 years. As happens with something so abused with attention at times, it disappeared in a lightning flash that crashed my hard drive. I didn't work on making mixes at all for a couple years after that because so much work was put into it that I just wasn't in the mood to start another one. But, its a good thing to start fresh and not to let the whiplash of something like that totally impede your ability to create. I've been playing drums for about 17 years and love latin, metal, jazz, experimental, progressive, bluegrass, hip hop, electronic, anything really as long as its good. I work a lot on my drum machine, V-Drums and other toys making interesting beats and such. Nothing 'finished' as yet to put up, but sometime in the future they may find their way here.
