Whiskey Wagon

About Me

Whiskey Wagon was formed in 2007 with the goal of becoming the number 1 Whiskey Daredevils tribute band in all of Ohio. Guitarist Tim Ledges met drummer Matt LeShay at the legendary Whiskey Daredevils/Supersuckers show at the Beachland. After about 12 beers and rocking out to the sounds of Bobby/Greg/Ken/David/Leo, they decided to make Whiskey Wagon! Tim had been the founding member of popular Mansfield area country band "Hitchin Post". Matt played in various high energy metal projects like "Bio Curse" and "Corpse Fiddler". After a bunch of auditions, the band really came together with the addition of Larry "The Beastmaster" Slevac on bass (ex-Corpses of Death) and singer/guitarist Kevin Lane.
Whiskey Wagon can play 28 different Whiskey Daredevils originals and 11 songs in the spirit of the Daredevils like The Cowslingers "West Vg Dog Track Boogie", BTO's "Takin Care of Business", most of ZZ Top's Eliminator album, and the Misfits "Mommy Can I Come Out and Kill Tonight?". The band is trying to play as many shows as they can, and hope to open for the mighty Whiskey Daredevils themselves this Fall. If you are interested in booking Whiskey Wagon, send us an email to this myspace account. We have our own PA, and can play most weekend nights with advance notice.
