Après plusieurs expériences musicales et leur rencontre grâce à Garden Of Sins (cette aventure se terminant fin 2007), Finnarian, Ashes et Polo décident de se retrouver autour d’un nouveau projet métal mêlant leurs diverses influences.
Assez vite, Ashes reviens à son instrument de prédilection et laisse les baguettes pour passer à la guitare.
Shad rejoint alors le groupe et prend place derrière les fûts, suivit d'Arnold au chant.
De nouvelles compos commencent à voir le jour et des sessions d’enregistrements s’organisent.

After the end of the band Garden Of Sins, which occurred end of 2007, Finnarian, Ashes and polo gather again to give birth to what will become Beyond The Pain.
The band rises from a 16 strings tune, as Ashes gets back to its favorite instrument and switch from the sticks to the mediator.
Each of them brings his own musical experiments and influences into this project, willing to visit a range of metal tunes.
Shad then join the band and begins to hit the drums hard, soon followed by Arnold.
The hard work can therefore go on, as new creations arise, and shows and recording sessions are planned...
