Over the course of 8 years, the roots and vibes of a Blues and Rock N Roll dream would be stewing inside the head of a young and eager musician. Johnny Lane.
Working and touring with several acts across Canada, would be the experience and creative fuel that would soon bring Johnny and his band mates together.
Long time friend Dan Mills would now fill the Drum position along with Mike Rennie on the Bass, together they would use there use swift sense of precision and timing to bring the songs to the next level. The final chapter of the this musical quartet would be discovered in one of Johnny’s musical ventures across Canada, touring with one of Canada’s most renowned artists, Jeff Martin of the tea party. Meeting with the founder of Chute amplifiers Carl Chute. In an endorsement signing, Carl and Johnny would keep in touch over time and would now become great friends, colleagues and the final addition that would complete Flowertown Avenue.
Heavily influenced by such bands as Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, The Eagles, Boston, Deep Purple, The Allman Brothers, Jimi Hendrix, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. These classic sounds to this day are still favoured by this trio. Formed in year 2006, these artists have grown into a band praised for their live performances, emphasis on musicianship, sound and technical expertise. After only a few months of intense writing and rehearsal, the band is now in full force playing shows all throughout Southern Ontario and have recorded a Six song EP featuring the songs: “Pixie Dustâ€,†Mountain Song†and “Officer Loveâ€. With an EP to shop, the band is ready to Launch a classic style of rock n roll, and bring back the classic energy, in as many cities as possible.
