Just figured out I haven't written anything down about myself. Well, here it goes....I turn 41 on March 30, 2008. I'm married with four (not a typo) kids, 3 girls and 1 boy. My wife and I have been together for over twenty (again, no typo) years. Thompson, Manitoba is my 13th (still no typo) move. I was in the Canadian Armed Forces for about eight years (from 1988 till 1997) as a technician with the Engineers (Chimo). It was during this time that I picked up the bass (more like it was handed to me and I was told put your fingers here and play). I started in 1994 but due to unforseen issues took about two years off. I always say that my passion for music outweighs my talent. I listen to just about anything, and usually do. There are way to many influences that I have but more recently I have been influenced more by the fine people here than any "stars" out there. I am a firm believer in respect for others. My goals for the year are to learn to read standard notation and improve my playing. ; )
