HOWEVER- I am a proud follower of the Punk logic.
For those who don't knowPunk is a mentality developed in
the mid 70’s in the US, the UK,
and Australia by poor underground
musicians. They made songs with
stripped-down instrumentation and
lyrics that were often political and
against establishment. They used
rock as a vehicle for the punk movement
with wise-ass attitude and humor. Punks
express youthful rebellion and are often
characterized by distinctive clothing styles
and a variety of anti-authoritarian
ideologies. The punk applauds originality.
The punk believes in being different, even
if becoming an outcast in the process.
The punk embraces the DIY (do it yourself)
ethic. We produce our own recordings and
we distribute them through informal
channels. In the beginning, Punk took root
in local scenes that tended to reject
association with the watered down
mainstream. However, thanks to bands
such as Green Day and The Offspring,
punk has been fully adopted by the
mainstream, bringing the genre
