FOR MY NIECE, DOMANEAK HERI: WE LOVE YOU, R.I.P!!!

I find myself needing to say something to all those that find themselves in this hard and difficult time. As I struggle I realize that there is unfortunely nothing that I can say or do that would make it any easier but to say that I love you all and that I stand by your sides in our time of grief!! To my Sister-In-Law Keisha, I love you so much and knowing the torment and pain that you must be going through I offer you these poems to help get through the storm. I would offer you my love but you already know that you have it and that I will always be here for you with whatever you may need. WE LOVE YOU KEISHA!!!1. We must find ways to grieve. For without grief there can be no comfort. Often we must force ourselves to reach into our subconscious to uncover our true feelings. Only when we have allowed ourselves to feel all of our pain can we begin to face our loss and slowly begin to heal.2. God blesses us each with so many things And sometimes that blessing is a child. He chooses a special angel, picked just for you And loans them to you for awhile.From the time they arrive They hold your heart in their hands And add countless precious moments to your life And each night we bow down and ask the good Lord above To protect them and keep them from strife.For this oh so precious gift, God doesn't ask a large fee. “Just love and care for them, and teach them of Me”. So we do what we can, We work hard and we pray And watch them blossom and grow With each passing day.Not one of us knows how long they'll be here Or when God will call for his loan, And take that special angel, picked just for you Back to his glorious home.But he made us a promise and I have no doubt, He will carry you through this great sorrow. Because when it's your time, she'll be first to greet you And you'll be blessed with an eternity of tomorrows.3. From the very beginning I loved you, As I made plans to hold you and rock you: You were tiny and helpless as you lay in my womb, But something went wrong and soon you were gone; My young heart was broken, my tears fell like rain, I'd never known such heartache and pain.I wonder who you look like, me or your dad, Do you have my smile and his eyes? Would you have been big and tall or tiny and small? We had dreams for you that reached to the skies. It was long, long ago and I still miss you so, Thanks to Jesus, I'll see you in heaven.I'll hold you in heaven someday, When my trials on earth pass away; The angels have rocked you, the Father watches over you, I know you're waiting for me; I never could hold you or tell you "Goodbye", But I'll hold you in heaven someday.
