In the second grade I got my very own record player. I started listening to artists like The Eagles, Bad Company and Heart. My parents would tell me I was spending way too much time in my room. I still remember the magic I felt when I listened to those records over and over again.... I was raised in a family with strong musical influance dating into the 1800's. As a result, at the age of two, I started picking up guitars and pretending I was on stage entertaining people. I began teaching myself to play piano in the sixth grade and I played saxophone in the school band from 5th to 8th grade. On my 13th birthday my parents gave me an electric guitar. From that point, for the rest of my teenage life, most of my energy was spoken for. Now, in my thirtys, I juggle work, family and my music career all at once.... Music is something that is always on my mind. I still take any chance to learn something new. It keeps it fresh and fun. What ever I am doing there is always a song playing in my head or I am thinking of ways to better my talent. Its not something I can turn off.
