About the Pullman Yards Hard-working families kept America’s railroad cars rolling during the early 1900s and had to sleep somewhere, so humble abodes were built beside the Pratt Engineering/ Pullman Yards in Kirkwood, East Atlanta, to house them. A hundred years later, iron-framed industrial buildings still stand in the open acreage across from 112 Rogers Street, where Pullman Yards – the entertainment center – opened in June '08. A large, shady outdoor stage area for laid-back appreciation of Atlanta area’s finest musical talent awaits. Inside, the folk-arty exhibit space won’t be mistaken for someone’s house, as this location also holds the distinction of serving as a methadone clinic in the 1970s. A true rarity for east Atlanta’s intown district, this spacious indoor/outdoor venue for emerging musical talent is timed perfectly for a summer launch of acoustic, rock, hard-driving roots, and all-night jamming. Like the early Pullman workers, our plan is to keep the good times rolling to the end!Pullman Yards is closed indefinitely. Thanks to all our patrons of the 2008 season. We are now Krog Jam!!
