G.Martin was born and raised in the "Steel City" Gary Indiana. Never foreseeing how much of an impact music would have on his life, he fell in love with the sound of tunes at an early age. He started off as a musician playing three instruments at the age of twelve and has since been perfecting his craft. G.Martin began to sing at the young age of fourteen and discovered his best quality through his vocal ability. Discovering music was discovering himself and was also the beginning of the definition of "G". He wrote his first song at the age of fifteen and has written countless songs since. Performing publicly for the first time at a well known theatre performance in high school began a consistent chain of performance to follow and that alon was enough for him to create a name for himself in his home state. Later he would go on to be invited to perform at formal state events, sports events and private affairs. Still not satisfied with his status in r&b in January of 2008 he relocated to New York and is now focused on letting the world hear his music and introduce himself as "G.Martin"[LOVEMYFLASH]
