About Me

Steel City Metal is here to bring the metal scene in Sheffield and the surrounding areas into the limelight!
Sick of hearing about how great the indie scene in Steel City is? Want to hear more about the heavier side of life? Then this is THE place for fans, bands/artists, promoters, venues, stores etc to get together and get our local metal scene thriving!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People who love metal and bands from in and around Sheffield who play their music loud and brutal! (Sorry bands, we'll only accept you if you're from Sheffield or nearby.)
If you're from outside of our area, but still think your band need some extra support, then head over to Metaholic Music who support all kinds of metal, from across the world, whether you're a new band starting up or Metallica.
Is there a band you think we're missing? Let us know so we can add them!!! We don't want to leave anyone out!
Looking to complete your bands line up? Drop Metaholic Music a line, and they will post it up on the Metaholic Music page!
You can also join the Musicians Network group where you can search for musicians, a new band and even trade shows with other artists. http://groups.myspace.com/MusiciansNetwork
