Are You Indie, Alternative, Emo or Prep?
Indie Alright, so we know that no one that is REALLY indie would ever SAY they're indie, but you are indie! You like things on the underground. You know all the bands coming off Matador, Subpop and Kill Rock Stars and will sport t-shirts highlighting obscure bands like Delta 5 and The Magnetic Fields. We recommend you listen to Pavement, Belle and Sebastian and Neutral Milk Hotel. Shop vintage. It's the only way to really find those pieces that no one else is wearing. Personality-Emotion Quizzes
I love life, and there's never a dull moment...EVER! I work hard & play hard. Yet, I DO like my space to read, write, play on the computer, travel & meet interesting people from around the world. I'm pretty easy going, and I don't like jealous, controlling, possesive behavior. It's a waste of energy, and it makes things worse every time. I need a best friend before I even consider a serious relationship. I've learned by experience that jumping into something first without taking time out to really get to know each other almost always goes awry & both parties end up affected in some way.
I love nature, particularly being around (or in) the ocean or deep within the mountains somewhere cozy with a fireplace, candles, good music, food, rain or snow & someone special to share it all with. My career has always been of a transient, creative nature, so that special person would either need to be in the same line of work as me or very patient with my long hours & travel time away. Most of my past relationships have been with creative types, due to the similarities & the lifestyles we've shared. I'm extraordinarily loyal, and I have tons of empathy towards others' due to the hardships & experiences I've been through in this gymnasium called life. What moves me (Literally!) is yoga, dancing & jamming to all sorts of music styles. I LOVE music & musicians because my career as a dancer mirrors that of a musician, hence most of my past relationships have been with musicians.
I have so many interests that I cannot keep up with myself as hard as I try. I'm usually working on several projects at the same time & so this makes things even more interesting, hence spices things up. I love to give rides on the back of my Harley. Anything that is free spirited & moves fast; be it horse, jet ski, whatever fast sports car, speed boats, and amusement park rides. Anything that's out in the open elements! I revel in the times that I can be a kid, because I really am youthful by nature & I love to play! However, I don't usually play by the rules, but I march to my own (tribal) drum.
I enjoy going out dancing, to the movies, romantic dinners, cuddling & passion at home surrounded with a great ambiance. I am definitely what one would consider the "Jill of all trades" because my interests are vast. I don't judge, I love to learn, I have a passion for spiritual meaning/purpose, yet I tend to stay far away from dogmatic or "cult like" groups. I will seldom follow because I like taking the lead, so it takes a strong character to tame the fire within my inner savage beast for sure. I love to do things off the beaten path, such as study & live with a Shaman in the middle of the Amazon Jungle for over a month. I know that I'll always be OK as long as I stay in the moment.
I'm super easy going and don't hang onto resentments or petty stuff. Life is to short. I'm very caring towards others and have a lively spirit & a pretty cool Soul as well. I'm definitely like a vampire; up half the night due to the serenity, and hence I have a very difficult time getting up early & facing the sun! I like to play & laugh...so that being said, humor & intelligence as well as charisma plays a big part in regards to whom I fall for. I'm a hopeless romantic & would want someone in my life that shared that as well as my other values to some degree. I LOVE animals with a passion, and would definitely open an animal sanctuary when I can. I also love children! Also, I'm an excellent listener & respect that same quality in a person I care for. I find it to be necessary in any type of lasting relationships.
