CONCOURSE was founded in Florida by original members, Bret Guthrie, Vince Sabatino and Matt Jordan. In 1985, after many different all-male lineups, the band made a radical change as it added female vocalist/keyboardist, ShaRae Sears to the lineup while they were located out of Colorado Springs, CO. They later also added Rick "Rock" Clark as male lead vocalist.
CONCOURSE toured the Midwest Club Circuit from October 1985 to April 1986 at venues that included the Institution of Rock'n'Roll (Colorado Springs, CO), The Moonlighter (Casper, WY), The Roxy (Tucson, AZ), The Iron Blossom (Sierra Vista, AZ), DJ's (Colorado Springs, CO), Strut's (Tulsa, OK), Rocker's (Houston, TX) and towns including Cheyenne, WY; Lincoln, NE; Dallas, TX; Abilene, TX; and Missoula, MT. They opened for Quarterflash, The Outfield, Sweet Savage and Kick Axe. They disbanded in April, 1986 in Abilene, Texas.
