Influences: Damiano Mercuri , born in Rome 1977, started his classical guitar study at the age of 13 under the guide of the great Italian guitarist Carlo Carfagna, and took his musical degree at S. Cecilia Conservatory of Music in Rome with maximum score cum laude.
Studied flamenco with Juan Lorenzo at S. Cecilia Conservatory of Music in Rome.
Active as classical musician playing as soloist as well as in different ensemble and orchestra.
He covers a repertoire from early till contemporary music.
He’ s also active on the neo-folk music with his solo project “Rose Rovine E Amanti†producing his music with labels like Cold Spring and The Eastern Front.
In 2007 he recorded with other Italian guitarists a tribute CD to Carlo Carfagna music produced by the Margy Group label.Contact at:
