Satish Krishnamurthy is a professional Mridangam,ghatam,kanjira,thavil,konnakol and morsingh player.
He has been learning mridangam under the tutilage of shri.T.S.NANDAKUMAR for the past 22years.
Satish is performing since the last 17years.He has many awards and certificates to his credit.
Satish has travelled all over india and also performed in France,Belgium,Italy,Norway,England,Bahrain etc.
He plays Mridangam with the renowned Bharatnatyam dancer Padmashri Hemamlini,Nache Mayuri fame Sudha Chandran,late Padmavibhushan Kelucharan Mohapatra.
satish has played for dr.l.subramanium dr.n.rajam,prof.shri.t.n.krishnan,dr.l.subramanium,shri.flut
e ramani,shri shankaran namboodiri to name a few.
Satish has also learned karnatic vocal for 8years from smt kalyani sharma,rukmani shankar and vijaya krishnamurthy.
Satish has released 4albums which includes AYYAPPA KE SHARAN MAIN.
This was the first time that ayyappa songs were sung in hindi,featuring A.SIVAMANI on percussions.
Satishs other album was a fusion of irish music with indian classical music.
Satish is also doing theatre work in PRITHVI theatre.his recent play is called MRITYUNJAY directed by kulwinder and music by Satish krishnamurthy.
