MITCHEL EMMS - FRONTMAN for TOXIC FEDERATIONI am lead vocalist for Derby/Nottingham based band "Toxic Federation", with their latest debut album "Behind the Mask" now on sale.I currently gig every week or so with my own Covers show, consisting of 2 hour sets of Classic to modern Rock/Indie with a 2k Rig and a 5k light show.Self taught, i orginally started out as a guitarist, and within the past 2 years, have focused on singing, and have learnt to play Bass, Drums, Keyboards and Piano.I've been in this buisness since the age of nine when i first picked up a guitar, and within a year i was gigging with my own produced songs with my aunt, proffessional singer "Bonnee Rox". After i appeared on National Television a year later, things kicked off, and ever since, i have worked my way through west midlands smokey pubs and clubs, accumilating experience over the years, as support for Bonnee Rox and eventually moving into my own shows.Throughout my career so far, i have produced 3 albums worth of solo material, appeared on national TV and Radio, and gigged over 400 gigs, and its all been worth it, thanks to the support of Bonnee, who helped me gain valuable years of experience.Every 2 weeks, i meet up with my cousin Al Atkins for a pint and a curry. He is the original founding vocalist of Classic Rock band "Judas Priest", still rocking into the modern day with his band "Holy Rage".
My other cousin Connor Emms currently fronts midlands band "The Young Saints", with former members of his Classic Wolverhampton metal band "Headspeed".Into 2009, kicking off the year joining with classic rock/metal band Toxic Federation. We are currently gigging regular, writing new material, with festivals and big dates this year. For details, see: Myspace.com/Toxicfederation
