So who is Frankie J.?

 

Let me tell you a little bit about me...

I was born in a small town in the island of Puerto Rico . I had a very normal childhood growing up with the normal challenges that kids have. The kids that I grew up with used to picked on me very often and take advantage of me being humble and shy. But the # 1 reason kids used to pick on me was that I was born with a small defect called ( Pectus excavatum )  concave chest. It was not very noticed unless I wasn’t wearing a shirt.

They used to call me all kinds of names ; you know kids can be very mean. Growing up and going to school with all these challenges, I used to be a very  slow learner and on top of that the teachers didn’t like me either and used to call me names because I never participated in class due to low self esteem & afraid of rejection not because I didn’t know the answer, most of the time.

Well that cost me failing in the 5 th grade. It was the worst thing that can happen to a kid my age and I don’t recommend it. Now on top of everything I was behind in school with kids smaller than me. When I finally got to middle school I managed to get a test that put me ahead where I was supposed to be. Once I was back on track with my old classmates, I started hanging out with new kids that skipped class to go and play arcade games and go shopping for the latest heavy metal albums.

To make the long story short, I ended up being a drop out for a little while and barley making the 12 th grade. Now I graduated, and not knowing what I wanted to do, everyone kept telling me “go to college find a good and solid company with benefits and save money”. First I didn’t like to much the 1 st suggestion to go school so I decided to go to the 2 nd suggestion find a JOB (JUST OVER BROKE) .

 For the next 3 to 4 years I jumped from job to job and playing drums for a small local rock band with some friends. Just being a typically teenager. At the age of 21 some friends and I decided to move to the state of Florida looking for new opportunities. It took me awhile making the decision to move away from my family and friends.

Once in Florida, it was a whole new lifestyle with new challenges for me and my friends and no more Mommy doing everything for us.  Not having family close by was a very big challenge. I used to talk to my Mom very often and she always advised me and supported me to not quit.

A few years later at my old job and still just over broke, I met my best friend which I ended marrying her 2 years later. Now married with responsibilities I decided that it was time to move on from the old job and I got myself a job as a sales person for a local company.

2 weeks later after training I started this wonderful opportunity in which I was a terrible sales person! To make the story short there was where the entrepreneur in me started to come out.

A few years later, a friend of mine from Church introduced me to MLM network marketing . The first 24 hours as a home based business owner I made $100 which I thought was awesome! I started listening to my up line and I made a list of friends and family you know the 3 foot rule (memory jogger) sounds familiar? 

Anyway, soon after that things were going ok, I guess until I ran out of family and friends that would listen to me about this great opportunity. With this great opportunity I didn’t know why people used to run; and not to me, but away from me like they where saying “who wants to get stuck with that!” That was PLAN A so now I asked my up line I hope there is a PLAN B and of course there was 1. passing flyers, 2. yard sign, classified adds, etc, etc…still people ran away from me and I’m here thinking, how is this possible that people don’t like my biz opportunity and the compensation plan and so on…..

So I got tired of it until I found PLAN C and you probably guessed it; BUY LEADS! Yeah you’re right buying leads what a great concept if they where cheap and good quality like they advertised. And you guessed it again no LUCK! People were rude and playing dumb like “ I never requested any information “ or “ I’m to busy, can you call me later” or “ ok sounds very good I think I will do it let me review the info and call me back” and when you call back they never answer the phone, never ever!

I’m sure you understand me and probably a lot of you can relate to me. And to finish here with this - after PLAN A, B, C, D, E, F, G and you know the rest of the song I hope. I found a system that makes any MLM business much easier when you have people chasing you instead of you chasing them like I used to dislike so much. It’s pretty awesome because most of the time when they call you or email you it’s because they are ready to make a change of some kind.  That’s something that changed the direction of my business for the better and is helping me get that joy back that I had when I started my MLM business.

And that is my story and I thank you for reading this far. Just because of that I will be giving you the opportunity to learn what it was that I found that changed the direction of my business.
