Last Years"Powermoves Empowering the Youth" was a great success for Powermoves Entertainment, The City of Albuquerque, and for Albuquerque's children. The turnout was great and the youth had a great time and hopefuly found it to be very positive. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in this years event. This event would not be possible without the corporate and community support from organizations like City of Albuquerque (Parks & Recreations/Family & Community Services), Comcast, Univision Radio, Kiss FM, Sli Productions, YDI, Royalty Life Records, Albuquerque Thunderbirds, Albuquerque Fire Department, Junior Lobo Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Martial Artistry, All Star Wrestling, Carrabbas Italian Grill, New Mexico Scorpions and everyone else who helped make this event great.
To prevent and keep the youth away from drugs, alcohol, violence and gangs and to provide a variety of positive influences and role models through entertainment, celebrity and professional guest appearances and activities. This event will also be used as a platform to raise money for school supplies for underprivileged children. This is an excellent way to utilize music and entertainment to lead the community youth toward a positive and successful life.
