Breaking The Girl

About Me

"An electricity is guaranteed at any show, making their gigs a must see."
More balls than The Kooks, rougher than Razorlight, and with better hair than The Libertines, Breaking the Girl are already carving their way through the South's Indie scene with their infectious sound.
Having supported Air Traffic, New Rhodes, Kubicheck!, and The Blood Arm on recent dates, BTG have built up an impressive repetoire and an electric stage show, not to mention an enviable collection of cuts and bruises...
The band are now hoping to build on their recent success which has made them cult favourites within the local music scene, by bringing their relentless levels of enthusiasm and energy to a wider audience through the release of ‘Eleven:Eleven’ later this year.

Sounds Like: Snappy riffs, some cymbal crashing drums and a bit of Chuck Berry-ish soloing; what more d’you want? A dancing dwarf?
-God Is In The TV

They have the rock and roll sound you'd expect with plenty of jangling, drum fills and a general shoulder swaying vice that makes you want to pout as you prance about the room.
