He composes classical music, performed by leading ensembles and orchestras in Israel and abroad, as well as pop, jazz, world music, and music for cinema, theater and dance. Among the many prizes and awards he has received is the "ACUM" (Israel Society of Authors, Composers, and Publishers) Prize for his contribution to musical life in Israel. He recorded his first LP in 1971 and has since released another 18 records and CDs.
