Colorado Artist Network

About Me

Colorado Artist Network (CAN) is a collective of arts professionals focused on creating, performing, and presenting music with a purpose. Whether applying their skills and talents toward educational, social, or philanthropic goals, this diverse group of respected local artists always seeks to foster an atmosphere of meaning, empowerment, joy, and authenticity through the arts.
CAN presents and co-hosts workshops and events that help create, strengthen, and foster a sense of community amongst musicians and artists along the Front Range. Through this programming, CAN showcases a diverse array of high quality music in “listening room” and concert environments, as well as non-traditional venues such as private homes, galleries and arts facilities, educational institutions, and public spaces.
Through its “Music is …” series, CAN also presents concerts, interdisciplinary arts events, and workshops to raise awareness and support for a variety of key issues such as music and arts education, environmental preservation, equal rights, and intercultural harmony.
To reach younger audiences, Colorado Artist Network has also connected with both local and national educational organizations. CAN seeks to begin serving local K–12 populations by bringing after-school/weekend music workshops and summer programs to Colorado educational facilities in 2009. If you or your organization would like to get involved or co-sponsor this aspect of our programming, please get in touch via this link .
