I was born with half of a heart (Only the right side grew), due to a genetic mutation known as ‘hypo plastic left heart’. Most would assume that I was a lost cause, that I would die. But a heart was found that was “as close to a clone or twin as possibleâ€, and I had heart transplant at five weeks of age. My transplant was extremely successful, and I am very healthy now, 16 years later. I don’t mean to sound egotistical, but…As I believe that everything happens for a reason, I believe that there is an important reason for me being here. Perhaps this is my “second chanceâ€. If there are past lives (I personally don’t believe in them, but they are still possible), perhaps I was an evil person in a past life.. And was almost going to be killed this life, yet they gave me a second chance to redeem myself. But, aside from past lives, I’ll admit that I have been a very dark and negative person a few years back, and I hope to use this hero persona in an effort to battle this darkness inside me.
I am so far a newcomer into the world of Real Life Super Heroes, yet I feel that I am supposed to be one.
All my life I've dreamed of being a hero and doing something meaningful in the world.
With my volunteering at a zoo and working with various animals, I can easily get a life career as some sort of zoologist. But I also want to do more than that. I want to do something that will really help others, be it perhaps Humans, or animals as well.
I don't know exactly what I want to do as “Scar Heart†yet, but I do feel as if this is what I'm here for. I think everything happens for a reason, and there have been certain events in my life leading up to this that really show that I should do this.
I'm pretty young, and I'm short for my age. I'm old enough now to get one, yet I still have no permit or driver's license. I apparently have an IQ of 142, according to tests I've taken, and I write stories. But I doubt any of those qualities can help in the hero-business.
So, here it goes. I'm serious about this, and hopefully this is the beginning of a good life helping others.
