Trillogy.Their goal is to continue to make quality music; which will solidify their place in music history.* They bring together experience, determination and focus to an ever changing Hip-Hop culture.* The success of 625 Entertainment is an ongoing tribute to their friend whose memory represents Trillogy’s third member, Anthony ‘T-Boogie’ Lasley, Jr. Anthony lost his battle against Leukemia in 1996; 6-2-5 is his actual burial plot number at New Crown Cemeteryo Reddy Rock believes that, “The process of making music is something that comes form within; something that you feel in your bones. When a beat hits me I can’t let it go.”* Their music has already caught the attention of many national acts; they have honed their rap skills, stage presence and public personas by opening for some of the most popular acts today, including Rhymefest, TI, Young Jeezy, Scarface, Lil Wayne and Kanye West.* If Trillogy’s sound is indicative of what is to come with regards to Hip Hop, Indiana and the Midwest in general, then Hoosiers can take a sigh of relief because their music is clever, catchy and undoubtedly supersedes many of the popular rap acts that are on the scene today. You’ll be filled with a combination of street anthems, club-bangers and songs that motivate the mind, while inspiring the soul.o Onree believes that, “It’s not just about the rhymes, it’s sending a message and the music has to stand for something. You have to inform, educate and enlighten…that’s our music.”* The music of Trillogy cannot be defined by a region; mainly because a Midwest sound has never been established.Trillogy is coming on to the national scene at an optimal time. In recent years the Hip Hop community has been extremely receptive to new acts coming out of the Midwest. To date, the Midwest has birthed many of Hip Hop’s most influential artists. Chicago gave us Kanye West and Common. Detroit gave us Eminem, while St. Louis gave us Nelly. Ohio and Kentucky gave us Bone Thugs in Harmony and Nappy Roots, respectively. However, all of that is about to change. Since there is no Naptown sound yet, Trillogy gets to assist in the architecture of this movement. Trillogy is actively working on their first album titled Cain’t Quit.
