Corey Cleghorn, CEO/Owner of Clout Records, Clout Models, Clout Marketing and D.E.E.P. Magazine: Corey has been involved in the music business for approximately 10 years. His former record label ventures included Dynasty Records and Power Houze Records. Dynasty which included the release of DFW Rap All Stars Volume 1(Time To Be Heard!) which was a compilation of the metoroplex's finest talent 10 years ago. Corey then ventured into Power Houze Records where he served as president for over 3 years. While with Power Houze Corey credits friends CEO of Power Houze Records, Byron Hendrix, and Vice President, Greg (Deville) Burns as well as the whole Power Houze family for the 3 years of learning experiences as being influential learning experiences that affected his whole life. Power Houze toured over 11 states and Corey had the experience of working and training underneath label consultant Wendy Day of the Rap Coalition. Wendy is recognized in the Source Power 30 as one of the most influential independent record label consultants for landing huge distribution deals and having negotiating fair artist contracts. She helped negotiate the Master P deal to Priority, Cash Money to Universal, and David Banner to Universal just to name a few. Wendy is the founder of Rap Coalition in New York and still serves as mentor to Corey with all label ventures. Corey credits these learning experiences as the basis Clout Records was built around. Along with Clout Records, Corey also serves as CEO/Owner of Clout Marketing and Advertising Agency, an advertising agency that Corey places excellent rates on all forms of media buys but especially radio due to his ability to create top notch events, the amount of bulk advertising he buys with all of the nightclubs and his excellent relationships with radio personalities.
